Wichita has a new proposal to fund a program to house the homeless

Wichita KS has just published their proposal to end homelessness.

The capital investment they are looking for is about 4 million to develop an office to administer the program. Annual operating costs of about 1.3 million -- half to operate the administration office and half to provide house to the chronically homeless.

Four million to build an office building. No investment in housing for the homeless.

The program consists of guaranteeing rent payments to landlords based on holdouts from signing up homeless to various disabled entitlement programs.

It's disgusting.
